Academics

Oak Park and River Forest High School offers a wide range of classes (some 250) to meet a variety of needs including: graduation requirements; exploration of individual interests; performance opportunities; academic support; and college credit. The high school is organized into nine academic divisions: Business Education and Library Services, English, Fine and Applied Arts (Visual Arts, Music, Speech Arts, Industrial Technology and Family/Consumer Science), History, Mathematics, Physical Education/Driver Education, Science, Special Education, and World Languages. Each of these divisions has a wide range of offerings designed to meet individual student needs and interests.
