In an effort to streamline absence reporting for families and improve how we receive and document these requests in our remote environment, we have implemented a new process for informing the school that your student will be absent from class(es). In the past, we have asked that you send an email to our attendance staff to report your student’s absences. Moving forward, effective immediately, parents/guardians should now report student absences via a few simple clicks in Family Access.
Regular class attendance increases the academic success and fosters self-discipline and responsibility. Students are expected to attend each class and study hall daily. Parents are obligated to contact the school when their student is absent.
