Divisions

Oak Park and River Forest High School offers a wide range of classes (some 250) to meet a variety of needs including: graduation requirements; discovering of personal interests; performance opportunities; academic support; and college credit.

The high school is organized into nine academic divisions: Business Education and Library Services, English, Fine and Applied Arts (Visual Arts, Music, Speech Arts, Industrial Technology and Family/Consumer Science), History, Mathematics, Physical Education/Driver Education, Science, Special Education and World Languages. Each of these divisions has a wide range of offerings designed to meet individual student needs and interests. Requests for information or questions about academic programs may be directed to the Assistant Principal of Instruction, the Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction or to the Division Heads.
